Our polyurethanes perform well in various applications and conditions.  Our 83A and 90A durometer materials are both MSHA approved.  They can be used as, but not limited to liners and in abrasive and impact applications.  The physical properties of our 83A durometer offer great wear life which make it ideal for many uses in the mining industry.

Characteristics

Abrasion Resistant

• Polyurethane will outlast many of the standard liners used in applications such as chute and hopper liners.  Polyurethane will outlast mild steel and stainless steel 10 to 1 and will out perform UHMW in most applications.

Impact Resistant

• Polyurethane is cast to match the size and weight of the material it is to handle.  The 83A durometer if spec'd right, will absord impacts without tearing or cutting.

Chemical Resistant

• Polyurethane is resistant to most oils and solvents

  Release Properties

• Most materials will release from polyurethane reducing problems such as bridging in hoppers and haul back problems in rail cars and trucks.

Easy on the Ears

• Due to the resilient nature of polyurethane it will absorb and deaden noises caused from impact.

Light Weight

• Polyurethane is approximately 1/7th the weight of steel making it easy to carry and transport

 Workable

• Polyurethane can be cut and drilled using standard tools making it easy to customize for various applications.
